The e-NV200 is an award-winning all-electric van based on the practical and reliable NV200. This vehicle uses trusted technology that Nissan pioneered in the LEAF electric vehicle, and offers emission-free performance for fleet operators who want to upgrade their business model.
The e-NV200 has a streamlined body that is optimised to be aerodynamically efficient, increasing the range of the battery. It is the largest electric van on the market, offering fantastic practicality. The charging point is located beneath the Nissan badge on the front end, making it easy to locate and access. LED strips in the headlights and 15-inch wheels add a stylish finish to this modern vehicle.
The load space has an impressive capacity of 4,200 litres and a 770kg payload, and the load bay is 2.04 metres long. You can also opt to have a passenger seat that folds down to create a possible total length of 2.8 metres; ideal for transporting long and bulky items. The load bay is 1.22 metres wide at its narrowest, so it can hold two Euro pallets with ease. Sliding doors on both sides come as standard, and you can choose between rear double doors or a lifting tailgate. The floor has six lashing points to hold your load securely and there are various bulkhead options available. The passenger compartment is robust and well-built, with a streamlined central console finished with a gloss black trim.
A massive 254Nm of torque is available immediately, so the e-NV200 feels exceptionally responsive from the moment your foot touches the accelerator pedal. This van is ideal for city driving, as it excels at low speeds and feels agile in busy traffic. The top speed is 76mph, so you can also tackle motorway driving with ease.
The main draw of running an electric van is the exceptionally low running costs, as the e-NV200 costs as little as two pence per mile to run. Charging the battery fully takes eight hours, or four hours with a high-capacity charge point. You can also use a rapid-charger which gives you 80 per cent capacity in just thirty minutes. A fully-charged battery gives you a range of 106 miles, plenty for drivers who spend the working day zipping around town.
The e-NV200 is an extremely safe van, and Nissan has taken extra care to compensate for the potential risks of driving an electric vehicle. The re-designed bonnet pops up in the event of a collision to minimise the risk of injury for pedestrians. Each model is also fitted with hill start assist and a rear view camera to make it even easier to manoeuvre the van around town.
The cockpit is fitted with climate control, heated seats and a heated steering wheel to keep you comfortable whatever the weather. Bluetooth connectivity, satellite navigation and digital radio are among the connectivity features, allowing you to use the e-NV200 as a mobile office. You can also opt to include CARWINGS, which lets you access the climate control remotely and gives you data on charging and the battery level.
