The Nissan Navara effortlessly combines brute force and visual aesthetics, resulting in a pick-up that offers plenty of load and towing capacity and lots of kerb appeal. The Navara offers a comfortable car-like driving experience and it’s surprisingly cost-effective to run. In fact, compared to other pick-ups, it’s probably the most economical of all. Even so, it can tow up to 3.5 tonnes.
The vehicle comes in Single Cab and Double Cab variants, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your needs. Thanks to its elevated ride height, it’s easy to get in and out of. On the inside, the Nissan Navara is rather smartly appointed, which means it compares extremely favourably with its pick-up rivals.
Load-bay lengths will vary depending on which model you choose. Typically, Single Cab variants offer a 1.75-metre length while Double Cab iterations are 1.53 metres long. Irrespective of which iteration you choose, a load-bay width of 1.56 metres remains the same.
A 2.3-litre engine produces 161bhp or 187bhp and 425Nm or 450Nm of torque. Models fitted with a 161bhp drivetrain return as much as 40.4mpg while 187bhp variants don’t lag far behind, managing up to 38.2mpg.
In the UK, the Nissan Navara isn’t available with a petrol engine. However, diesel-powered models (with the aforementioned specs) are available at South West Nissan. Please feel free to browse – and please don’t hesitate to book your test drive.
